My Busy Life

Wow! I have had a crazy few weeks, which have been busy. The past few weeks I (and mum) had been extremely busy trying to organise a stall at the Soccer Carnival. I had planned to sell Lollies and also do children's Face Painting, this went as planned, and off I went with mum to Cash & Carry to get Lollies and to Spotlight to get Face Paints. And so the dinning room looked like a Lolly shop with the lollies all set up and prices marked. I must admit I did buy some previous to the Carnival. :) Carnival Day arrived last week Saturday. It was a lot of fun and we got about $550 profit! This will go towards our Year 12 Funds, such as our Graduation Dinner with the teachers, Photographer for our Graduation day.

A grand total of $117.75! (Before I reimbursed mum)

I have congress this long weekend, I am looking forward to it and hope to take a handful of photos which I will share with you all when I come back and have time, as the long weekend falls on the start of my holidays, if you want to call them that, these 'holidays' are filled with EXAMS! Yes that hatted 5 letter word that pops up when you are in High School!

Life these days...

Yes, I know I havn't updated my blog recently. So sorry for this, have had a busy week at Kylies and doing homework.

Woohoo! Only 4 weeks (or so) of school left. Im looking forward to it, after being in school for 12 years, im not sure what its going to be like not having it around. I will definetely miss the social side, seeing my friends everyday.

I spent last week at Kylie's house having a blast with her little family. Enjoyed her delicious desserts and treats and also hanging out with the cutest neice ever. (Just a tad bias)

The reason for being at her house was because my parents were away in Sydney enjoying the sights. They kept us updated with a 'tour' of all the places they went sending us messages with photos and small captions. It really made you feel like you were there with them. Well after hearing all their stories, it seems like they had an enjoyable time.

The little things in life we take for granted...

There are many things in life that we have all been blessed with, and I know that I myself take many things for granted. If I think about the past year there have been so many things that I am thankful for.

To start of the year my cousin, Nikita came all the way from Holland and spent over 2 months with us. This was such an amazing time, because I got to know her better and spent alot of time with her. We went up to Cervantes to the Pinnicles and showed, came here to Down Under and visited with us staying for over 2 months. It was also a nice time for all of us cousins to get to know eachother better, and we often spent the weekends chilling and having battles on Singstar :)

In June,I went with my family to the Gold Coast, celebrating my parents 25th Wedding Aniversay. We stayed at a gorgeous apartment/resort. It was like paradise... the perfect place to relax. We had a busy 2 weeks, going to Sea World and also Movie World, these 2 theme parks being the family favourites. We also went to The Australian Outback, Ripley's Believe it or not, Dracula's Haunted House and also Infinity Attraction. It was also amazing just to see the night life, how busy it gets when the sun goes down and the city becomes alive. There were also many festivals held at the beach making it even more busier. It was such an awesome time with the family and great bonding experience.

Then a few weeks later I was also blessed with a trip with my fellow class mates, every year at my school the Year 12's are priviledged with a trip over east. We fly to Sydney and travel via bus to Canberra stopping at a lookout, at a rainforest and to pick up dinner. Once in Canberra we settle down for the next few days and take our time exploring Canberra, with the Parliament House (both the old and new), Questacon, a lunch boat cruise, also the Australian War Memorial. We then headed into the mountains and for many of us it was the first time seeing the snow and getting to play in it. We were all treated to 2 very enjoyable days in the snow learning to ski or snowboard, go tobaganning, have way too many snowball fights against the leaders and also have many snow angels and then relaxing in the cafe with a mug of hot chocolate defrosting both your hands and also your insides. We then travelled back down to Sydney and had a tour of the Opera House and enjoyed the many sights Sydney had for us.

Another thing to be thankful about is that my older sister, Kylie is expecting her 2nd child in October. I am very thankful about this as it is so much fun to see little ones grow up and develope different things, but for the fact that we have a very small family, and to see my sister have children allows our family to grow, and by the love of my Heavenly Father, I too can help make our family grow some day in the future. She too has a blog and you can follow her at http://www.ckhidding.blogspot.com.au/

Well this is all for this week, next week I will staying at my sisters, as my parents are off to Sydney to enjoy some time together on respite and also to celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary.

So here I write... the beginning of what I hope to be a fantastic blog....
